My favorite part about the Bradley Hubbell House and the Adam School House was when we wrote with ink and chalk at the Adam School House. I liked it because we got to experience what they did in the 1800's. I also learned that they used to play Thimble, Thimble Where's the Thimble. It's when you pick a person to hide the thimble and a person to find the thimble. This was what I learned and what my favorite part was.

My favorite part of the field trip was when we went to Adams School House. It gives you an experience of the old times. It was fun when we wrote with the pens. It was also fun when we wrote on the chalk boards. The hard part was when we wrote on the chalk boards the letters the old days went IT WAS SO HARD TO COPY!!! I LOVED when we played thimble, thimble I now know what to do when I am bored because I can play that and say if I used a marker I can pretend that is a thimble. That is why I liked the Adam School House.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the field trip was when we got to see the CHICKS at the Hubble House they were so CUTE I loved it. When we got to see the tools they used in the older days it was like they used it a lot. When we went to the Adams School House it was so hard doing the writing I could barley write in tile I got the hang of it. We got to write with the pens when you would dip it in the ink and then just write. We did a game but I liked when me and my friends had fun and I had fun with Miss. Swanson too~!

I liked the Adams School House a lot. We wrote with chalk and ink pens. The pens did not look like pens now. They looked like plastic with metal inside it. The ink was so light; I couldn’t even see the ink! We also played a game called thimble, thimble that the kids from the Adams School House invented. It is a game where one person goes out of the room and another person hides a thimble. Then, the rest of the class say, "thimble, thimble, where is the thimble." The person outside of the room comes in and tries to find the thimble. The class has to say hot when the person is close, and cold when the person is far away. That game is so fun. That is why I liked the field trip.

My favorite part of the trip was the baby chicks. I liked them because they were really really cute. They were also very tiny and jumpy. They were all different colors and sizes . The man told us that they were one month old. It was really fun. that was my favorite part of the trip. ~ Emma W
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the field trip was when we wrote are names in ink. I was so fun because the ink was pink. Another thing I like was when they showed us the baby chicks. The little baby chicks were only one week old when we went to see them. A third thing I like was hanging out with my best friend, Emily. That is why I like the Bradley Hubbell House and the Adams School House!

I liked the Hubbell House. I liked the chicks. They were 1 week old. I also liked the school house. We got to write like kids back in the 1800's. I Learned about how hard life was. That is what I liked and learned. ~ Kyler C.
ReplyDeleteI liked that the Adams School house because we could use ink pens .I also liked that we were allowed to play games that they played back in their day. I loved that we used the pieces of chalk to write on the board. I was very surprised how small the pieces of chalk they had to use. The last thing i loved was that we were able to sit at the old fashioned but didn't have to read. That is what I liked about the Adams School House. Raffe K.
